The Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution Based on the Zodiac Sign
This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm across the fandom. From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's launch, to players forming firm opinions on the entire roster of new Megas, there's plenty for fans to anticipate.
With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: How can connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.
Aries – Super Camerupt
Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why Aries much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and benefit from a powerful ally; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.
The Bull – Super Heracross
Much like a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, whether in its regular and Super Form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their position to the end. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed passion for treats. Several previous official descriptions note their craving for tasty sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.
The Twins – Mega Medicham
Observe this total royalty. It's impossible to convince me this creature is not the soul of every party, offering an constant stream of gossip to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's very easy to imagine Super Medicham captivating an whole open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also states its ability to foresee an opponent's next moves, which sounds very like a socially-savvy Twins.
Cancer – Mega Manectric
Cancer is widely considered as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a intense sign known for often becoming wrapped up in their feelings. According to the official info, Mega Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “tremendous quantity of energy, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully manage,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. It is also recognized for its ability to create a storm cloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is going to do, it’s rain on their good time.
Leo – Super Starmie
Well, did you think I was going to pick the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too obvious, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being too fabulous (or terrifying, based on your preference). Fans couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Lion offers to the table. Starmie is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a performance, albeit for aliens.
Virgo – Super Victreebel
The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The sign known for being endearingly judgmental is strongly mirrored across this creature's whole lineage, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down visage that’s just like the symbol a Maiden sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.
The Scales – Super Audino
Look at this gentle, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to tell how others are emotionally by their pulse. Always empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely benefit from Super Audino's skills. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them worry even more about others.
Scorpio – Mega Banette
Banette is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.
The Archer – Mega Hawlucha
Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius match I can think of.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee disasters ahead of time? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently believe they’re right. Interestingly, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to get in on the ground floor of the Super Form craze.
Aquarius – Super Chandelure
Detached air sign Aquarius is possibly the non-flame sign that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire category matches perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general daunting presence is also extremely Aquarius. If you weren’t already convinced, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “draws in hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
